Trip to snow

We went with the in-laws to the mountains to see snow, as Couple 3 is living across the country without much snow. There hasn’t been much snow this year, but as we got to the top, it finally started to look like it should. The slopes were open and we hiked back into the woods to find sledding.

In the evening, we visited relatives and went out for a delicious dinner at North Bend Bar and Grill. It’s on our list of Restaurants-To-Visit-Again-ASAP. I refuse to take photos of NY plate, so you’ll have to take my word for it.

And then on the way back we hit road debris on the most crowded scary part of I-5. Thankfully, the in-laws had AAA and we were on our way soon. Not a pleasant experience, though, nor one I would wish to repeat. In God’s grace, it was an almost brand new tire and we got it replaced for free.
